Description: Vintage Dubow Pelican Bill Nicholson Endorsed Baseball Glove Mitt, LHT Vintage Dubow Pelican Bill Nicholson endorsed baseball glove / mitt, for a left handed thrower. This was my dad's baseball glove from high school and then college, where played on a scholarship. He was born in 1936 and his family lived below the poverty level. My understanding was that this glove was handed down to him from another left handed player. The glove has the Dubow button on the back and Pelican can be seen on the thumb. The Bill of Bill Nicholson is visible, but just barely. The Nicholson was an educated guess based on making out certain pieces of letters. For example the first letter is not J for Jurges, But the first part of the N is visible. The glove appears to have some handmade repairs, stains etc, If I remember correctly I used this glove in junior high because left handed gloves were still somewhat hard to find.
