Description: vintage DES SCULP FARKAS KY LIDDED STEIN The ceramic stein has elaborate decoration. Near a tree and branches, a pioneer man with a fur cap and cape stands near a woman who is holding a medal on his chest. The woman's purse is a 19th century type. The man is holding a shotgun and under him is a fallen stag. There is leaf pattern bordering near the bottom. On the lid is tree design. The stein is 14-1/2" high and 4-1/2" diameter at the base. Near the bottom is marked c DES SCULP FARKAS KY MO (?). On the bottom is marked the initials HEJ. Very good condition although there is one small chip to the upper handle. Otherwise there is only scuffs to the copper-brown glaze - near the bottom, at the top near the rim and at the edges of the protruding picture. Thanks for looking!
