If you let this computer sit running the Windows screen goes away after 10 min or so. it leaves a blinking curser in the upper left corner. the mouse any any key input does not bring the screen back. the monitor remains synced. if you turn off the computer and turn back on it boots up you get the scan message because windows was not shut down properly.
