I am not a clock restorer & I do not clean the clocks. All clocks that I am selling show age related wear, I do not test for time accuracy, I only check that they are working this is for mechanical clocks but this is easy to adjust (see instructions videos online) this includes the beat of the clock as during transit this can offset. Quartz Battery Powered Clocks: I have tried to fit new batteries where I can but as I have a wide variety of these type of clocks in my collection I can't guarantee a new battery fitted in all of them due to the cost of this, particularly for some of the more expensive makes of clock which can be as much as 100+. Normally is just a cheap battery so cannot guarantee how long this will last some of the clocks have different shapes and sizes of batteries so I only do the standard ones.
