Description: Vintage CORKSCREW and BEER BOTTLE OPENER in the Shape of a Ship AnchorStatue of Liberty N. Y. City Nameplate Souvenir ShieldMade in U.S.A. Description:This is a souvenir corkscrew and cap lifter beer bottle opener combination in the shape of a boat anchor, and with a name plate shield affixed to the front. The corkscrew and bottle opener are a separate piece from the sheath which is made of a very heavy non-magnetic metal appearing to be either brass or bronze (not sure of the metal). The corkscrew/cap lifter combination were made by Williamson of Newark, New Jersey; the sheath was cast by a foundry in Bridgeport, Connecticut. Depicted in relief on the nameplate is the Statue of Liberty and the words "STATUE OF LIBERTY/N.Y. CITY". Dimension: approximately 3 7/8" long when closed.Weight: 4 1/4 ounces.
