Years of research have produced a synthetic material which is more durable than wood. Each grip is distinctive with its own grain and color. Finger support, palm swell and balance are features which you will experience instantly. SAFARILAND COMBAT GRIPS ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS. PLEASE READ CAREFULLY: Using the side of your hand firmly tap one side of the grip onto the handle frame of the weapon until it is seated. Take off that side and remove any shavings near the top inside of the grip. Repeat the same procedure on the other half of the grip. Then place both on the pistol and secure with the enclosed sloted screw. Be sure to use the correct size screw driver so as not to damage the wall of the screw hole. Because of the close fitting design of our grips, it is not necessary to tighten the screw extreamly tight. Damage to the grip may occur if unnecessary pressure is applied.
