VINTAGE COLOR-CHANGING FLUORITE SPUTNIK BROOCH blue-to-purple MCM cluster pin B2

Description: large, Y-shaped Sputnik brooch.body is a ring of smokey gray/mauve rhinestones, with 3 sprays of round mauve rhinestones and clear baguette glass (?) stones. in the center are 3 raised, very clear stones, that i just assumed were a lilac colored crystal when i was taking pictures under halogen lights,but when i moved it into my office, which has a CFL bulb, to list it here on ebay, i realized it the center stones were now pale blue. and then when i set it down in front of my monitor, it changed again to a lavender/periwinkle color.i looked it up and i assume they're fluorite, just because that's the cheapest and most common color changing stone that can turn between blue and purple, but there are a few other possibilities. i looked up the patent on the back of the pin, and that's just for the safety clasp, nothing useful. anyway, uncleaned. great condition with slight wear. prongs are a bit bent, but can easily be bent back in shape. no missing stones. slightly over 2.5" across any 2 arms. Update:did more experiments under different types of light, mostly because these stones are really neat, but also because it might help someone identify them:Sunlight: lavender.Overcast: pale blue.Candlelight: lilac.UV light: pink (doesn't react/glow, just appears magenta-ish).
