Description: Real Genuine BURMESE Jadeite Jade Large Phoenix Pendant Beaded Necklace with magnetic Silver Closure. All the jade beads are natural without treatment. The jade is very cold to the touch and the beads are all hand knotted in silk string with 4 silk knots between each bead. The pendant alone measures 3 1/4" tall by 2" wide and about 1/4" thick and weighs 108g. The pendant is carved with a Phoenix at the top and looks like fish at the bottom. The back also has carving that may be flower buds but I am not really sure what the carving denotes. This vintage Chinese necklace features beautiful bright green jadeite beads. The 29 - 10 mm jade beads form a stunning beaded necklace piece. The closure is a 12 mm sterling magnetic silver bead. The primary material of the necklace is jade, which has long been prized in Chinese culture for its beauty and symbolic significance.
