Description: A vintage Chinese Foochow / Fuzhou tea set for two people. Black ground with decoration in gold, red and green. Inside all items are finish in gold lacquer. Two cups and saucers; covered sugar bowl and milk jug/ creamer. Silver base stamp with Chinese characters and the world globe with the map of the Republic of China in the centre. The cups measure 5.3cm high x 10cm rim diameter: the saucers measure 13.4cm in diameter: the sugar bowl, including the lid stands 10.5cm high: at the highest point the jug/ creamer measures 10.5cm.
