Description: Vintage 1960s Champion Brand intramural basketball jersey - Notre Dame Fighting Irish NCAA Basketball Jersey. Gold letters and trim. Iconic Notre Dame on front of book blue jersey muscle shirt. Has wear tear and use. Used once - size is XL but fits like a large. Measurements. Pit to pit outer trim 21”. Back Jersey top to bottom 22” approx. washed once. After that displayed in my Notre Dame shadow box. Champion Brand - Made in Rochester NY. Please note Jersey has wear and been used. Origin: several years ago I went to a memorabilia sale from a notre dame alumni that passed in Florida. He had a team picture from late 60s all players were wearing a similar Jersey. Supposedly he was a huge booster - a contributor and some sort of supporter so game could have been an intramural or supporter celebrity game. Btw he also had a picture of Coach Phelps but much later (early 70s). Ships priority mail.
