Description: Very nice OLD white milk glass covered chicken/hen This was one of my first antique purchases in the early 1970’s! It has been packed away for about 35 years . Just moved and downsizing ! There is one slight crack I’ve tried to picture -it was hard to find , and I think it was done at production as it does not go all the way thru and below it the glass is a bit thicker . It still does not detract from this piece! This is really a great old piece . It was appraised at $48 in the 80’s . Measurements are as follows Height to top of tail 6 1/8 Length to end of tail from front of nest 7 1/2 Width 5 1/2 Length of nest 7 inches Base nest length 4 7/8 Base next width 3 7/16 There are no other cracks chips crazing but due to its age , sold as is.
