Description: Carpenter curved claw hammer head marked on 1 side, “Shapleigh’s Hammer Forged”. The word Shapleigh’s is in script lettering. The Shapleigh Hardware Co. was in St Louis, MO. U.S.A. The head measures 4-1/2” long with 1” diameter striking face. The weight is 12 ounces on the dial scale (as shown). The hammer head is in good used condition with marks and scrapes but no specific defect to point out. Nice vintage Shapleigh’s Hardware curved claw hammer head.
