All sit flat no dents, there are scuffs and scratches and utensil marks in the Wok. Heavy duty pans are cast out of aluminum and hard anodized outside and inside, no Teflon. Winsor pan lid is bare aluminum. The original name of Calphalon was Commercial Aluminum Cookware Company. It was started in 1963 and sold mostly to commercial kitchens.
