Description: Vintage c.1940's Canadian School Original Oil on Board Lumber Mill Landscape Up for sale is vintage c.1940’s original oil on thick card board Canadian School painting. The painting is depicting a street scene in front of Notre Dame Basilica in Montreal. The framing is newer but the support it's painted on and the painting itself are definitely older. The painting itself is measuring about 7” (18 cm) by 10 ½ (27 cm), and the frame is measuring 13 ½” (34 cm) by 17” (43 cm). It is seems to be unsigned but it is surely done by some skilled and talented artist of the great period in Canadian Art. This painting would be a sound investment and a great addition to any collection. Please don’t confuse our low starting bid or discounted price with the actual value of the piece.
