Vintage c 1930 Art Deco CITRINE Marcasite Sterling Silver Dangle Earrings

This fabulous pair of Art Deco dangle earrings features fancy-cut citrine gemstones. The shape appears to be a cross between a triangle and a teardrop. They are bezel-set into open-work settings. The earrings are detailed with milgrain and marcasites. There is a variation of patterns and designs with a geometric theme. Two of the connectors on each earring leading to the top are set with colorful iridescent glass baguettes. I am puzzled by these glass stones as they appear to be aurora borealis stones which post-date these earrings. They are possibly replacements, but beautiful nonetheless. The backs are stamped "STERLING." This type of genuine Deco-period dangle earrings is getting harder and harder to find. Condition: Excellent!
