Description: THANKS FOR CHECKING OUT MY AUCTION. PLEASE READ THE ENTIRE DESCRIPTION AND MY POLICIES BEFORE PLACING YOUR BID. Check out my other items!Be sure to add me to your favorites list! This listing is for a vintage Buescher "True Tone" alto saxophone mouthpiece. This is a stock mouthpiece which came with various Buescher models in the post WWII era. It is made of white plastic, sometimes referred to as 'Tonalin'. It most likely dates to the 1950's, or thereabouts. It is stamped 3 on the side, and the tip opening measures .065". It has flat inner side walls, and a slightly "A" shaped oblong chamber. This mouthpiece is in very good used condition. The tip, table, and rails are smooth, and original. There is some tooth wear on the beak, but it is not a deep gouge. It is what I would call 'flat wear', and does not warrant repair in my opinion. If you use a mouthpiece cushion you are very unlikely to be bothered by it. There is light ligature scratching on the body. There are no cracks or other damage. The logo is nice and clear. This mouthpiece has been cleaned/sanitized. Please feel free to email me with any questions. Thanks again for looking! 3-23-24-1
