Description: This TOMY tabletop pinball game is a classic vintage collectible from 1983. It features the Astro Shooter game title and is in the original box. Made in Thailand, this electronic game is sure to bring back memories for fans of pinball games. The game is perfect for collectors and enthusiasts alike. Don't miss out on this rare find! 🚨Professional Inspection Report 🚨 This is a very rare TOMY Astro shooter flipper pinball game. I had to spend a long time using Google image search to locate this machine. The problem I had was there was no available photos on the Internet that exactly matched this description. There’s a lot of very very similar matches, but nothing with this exact same photo which this is a more rare box, if nothing else. You will see tons of these machines being sold on eBay, but nothing with the same exact box picture. I have tested it and connected it to power. I had to shake the ball loose by picking up the game and rotating it and the ball did work. it returned to the slot and I shot it several times activating all of the lights and noises features. However, for some reason, the ball kept getting stuck and I kept having to flip the game over to get the ball unstuck. I don’t know if this is just a cleaning issue, but it was kind of annoying. The Game has been in Storage for over 20 years or since it was new, so these kinds of toys do require maintenance to get them back up and going even when they are brand new just because the parts get from and they require lubrication and cleaning. This is the same situation. One of my 100 vintage RC cars. They have to be taken apart and cleaned even though they are brand new and the plastic parts have to be lubricated. The UPC code listed is the correct code for this game. I scanned it in myself. I was not able to locate the year of production anywhere on the box, but only the item number 7024 so I am hoping that this is in fact, a 1983 model and not perhaps an older model that is more rare. The box does have obvious flaws and is not in perfect absolute mint condition but what do you expect for a 1983 box. This is in so much better condition than most boxes of its age. I am shocked. There is obvious scratching to the graphic surface as well as to the clear plastic glass on the actual pinball game itself, but this would all polish off. Any serious collector understands how to polish clear plastic plexiglass. This is one of the first things required to learn hobby collecting a collectible can get damaged and scratched inside the factory box easily When it’s being carried and moved around to other locations and that is what I believe happened here. You may not see the scuffs in the photos very well, but they do exist, and the plexiglass does need to be buffed. Please carefully look at all of the photos.. I am in absolute disbelief that I even found this item due to the rarity of it. But pictures are everything. I documented everything carefully for you to make an educated bid so I expect you to carefully inspect every photo. This box was opened, but it appears to me that this kit is 100% complete. They may have played with it before and then put it directly back in the package, but it is not missing anything. It has all four of the feet and it has the back screen as well as the power cord. All of the electronics appear to work correctly on it as well as the timer and the counter. These electronic functions are usually, some of the first to go out, but this was a miracle. The only problem was the ball getting stuck, which probably requires cleaning. The factory box does have some slight flaws, but I don’t believe there’s another factory box in the world as nice as this box. It is a absolute miracle that it survived all of these years in such good condition. But once again, I remind you look at the photos carefully and email me For any more pictures that you need. It is your responsibility to make an educated decision in the bids of this rare item so we are putting the responsibility on you to carefully inspect the photos. 📦 The shipping is going to be high on this because the actual box used to ship it is going to need to be 24x8x15 I believe. That is just the cost of collecting very valuable toys and keeping them in perfect condition when shipping., but you will only pay actual shipping so whatever we do to make the shipping cheaper, you will be reimbursed for. 📦. 📦 This item will be packaged very carefully, and all of the individual parts will be wrapped in bubble wrap. Absolute care will go into the packaging of this item and it will probably take at least a couple hours just to build a custom box and package secure. No shortcuts will be taken in the packing of this rare collectible.📦 I’ve got tons of other Batman stuff and collectibles for multimillionaire estate that I am going through an auction off right now. I’ve Got over 1300 items on eBay at this moment. We ship the very same day as payment if possible and we package our items very very carefully. We do not make money off of shipping and if we are able to save you extra money on shipping as long as it is more than four dollars we will always reimburse you. We do not hold you hostage for feedback as many other sellers do. As soon as you make payment, you receive a very positive affirming feedback from us notifying the entire eBay community that you are good representative of somebody that they want to do business with. There’s no reason for a seller to wait to leave feedback until the seller receives feedback and that is very corrupt of them. We have a little surprise at the end of the auction where we like to send our customers a 20% off coupon towards further purchases. We don’t always do this, but you can look at it as a gift of gratitude if you receive one from us. Sometimes we even include extra free items in the package just as a bonus and a way to say thank you. As soon as payment is made, you will receive my personal cell phone number so if you have any issues with shipping whatsoever, you can text me at any time and I will respond quickly. I’m all about customer service. I may have over 1000 items on eBay, but your purchase is just as important to me as a five or $10,000 purchase. If we feel that you are making a good offer, we might accept it and end the auction early for you. If it’s a little low, we may counter offer you for a more reasonable offer so please don’t let that affect your pride. Good luck on the auction and God bless you. I hope this is the one piece of your collection that you treasure the most.
