Description: Vintage BONWIT TELLER Philadelphia Ladies Black Velvet Hat w Rhinestones Hat Band 2 Hatpins Excellent condition. The hat has a tailored brim that helps the hat to hold its shape as it sits on the head. The grosgrain sweatband inside is perfect too. The hat band is a matching color taffeta I believe. It has 3 rhinestones in the half bow at the front. It has 2 hatpins each covered with velvet. The crown is about 2 3/4" in height and I measured it from the bottom of the hat band. I don't know a lot about hats but can describe what I see. I can wear this as I wear a small and have short hair---- hence estimating this is a small . It measures 8 1/2" x 9" across including the brim. It measures about 4" in height as it sits on a surface. It will be shipped Priority Mail. Please be advised that during the winter months we burn wood if you are sensitive to smells. They may smell of cigarette smoke or other odors also as my items are purchased at estate sales, storage auctions, liquidation sales, thrift shops, & yard / garage sales and I have no history on them to know what environment they originally were in.
