Description: Hello - I'm looking to sell my 36mm vintage (1960s) Blancpain Bathyscaphe. This is a good honest example of one of the true icons of dive watches. This underwent a laborious service through Blancpain's unique vintage servicing/restoration department lasting the better part of a year in 2017/2018. As part of this truly unique vintage service, Blancpain includes professional photography and detailed insight into the condition of the watch, what they serviced, what needed replacing etc. Based on their records, which I've included as you can see, they serviced the movement including the required replacement of a handful of OEM/original parts to get it functioning properly for its age and gently cleaned and polished the case, although they didn't go overboard on non-necessary repairs/replacements, which is appreciated. This will come on the olive green NATO as shown and I will include the Analysis Report, Service Report, photography, and service receipt as shown. I don't dabble much in vintage, but this is truly a piece of watchmaking history with the best records and OEM vintage servicing approach I've ever seen.
