They were stock from a shop in Kyoto that sold kimono accessories and dance supplies… They seem to have been produced in the 1980’s or 1990’s but have been carefully stored and have no stains or odor. These Obis are in perfect, unused condition in their original package. They are a special type of Obi used in Japanese dance. Beautiful geometric gold leaf design on a black background. They appear to be made of a cotton/rayon blend but I am not sure of the exact materials used. They are 142” or 360cm in length and measures: 6½” or 15cm wide.(As of this listing, we have 17 identical obi) MADE IN JAPAN NOTE: These are all vintage items and some are unused, like new or have stains or other damage so examine the photos and read the description carefully before purchasing to determine the exact condition of this particular item and it’s value to you.
