Description: here is a vintage circa mid 1950's, I believe 1956 full color litho map of ROMA measuring approximately 27" x 16-16 1/2". map is completely in ITALIAN. top of map says "NUOVA PIANTA DI ROMA CON RETE AUTOFILOTRANVIARIA". the left side of map has sections with a list of "TRAMS", "FILOBUS-TROLLEY BUSES", "AUTOBUS" and "LINEE SPECIAL" all arranged in numerical and alphabetical designations. completely in Italian. bottom left hand box says "ROMA" "PIANTA GENTILMENTE CONCESSA DALLA GEOGRAPHICA- FIRENZE" under this in smaller print is "I.G.M. NULLA OSTA 21-3-1956 N.281 / G / I- 17-4-1956 N. 456 / G / I / R". map has no major rips or tears and no defacing. there is normal but light edge and corner wear, including a very tiny corner fold at top left hand corner of map. there is a tiny pinpoint hole in center seam from folding. the map is fragile and must be opened gently to avoid ripping. there is some dark spots on back white portion of map from exposure and fold lines. please view all pics and read full item condition.
