Description: Unusual hand embroidered quilt with 12 named bible scenes depicted in the 10-1/2" white squares. A sunny yellow cotton was used for the background and a double white and yellow frame complete the quilt. Peacock, pinwheel, sunburst and square quilting cover the blocks while meandering leaf and chevron quilting run along the frames at 8 tiny stitches per inch. It has a thin cotton batting and an unbleached muslin back and measures 72" square. The quilt has some brown storage staining as shown, which may come out in the first wash.
