Vintage Beautiful Coastal SEA BIRD Print SIGNED J.Hartman FRAMED Pink/Gray/Green

Description: This beautiful Jan Hartman print features a striking Kingfisher bird sitting on a wood post. The Kingfishers is a shy bird that primarily eats fish, so it lives near bodies of water and in coastal areas. They are beautiful birds, now on the endangered bird list and not seen too often anymore. The Kingfisher in this watercolor print is fabulous - a deep charcoal gray and white bird that is complemented by the surrounding floral plants and green leaves. The background is an impressionistic-style cluster of leaves with deep pink highlights that gives the piece a magical quality. This piece has been beautifully and artistically custom framed. It has been triple matted with white outer and inner mattes, and a steel blue center matte that really complements the piece. The frame is brilliant gold metal that is that is the perfect elegant finish. It measures 12 1/4 inches in length and is about 12 1/4 inches in height, a perfect square and a nice medium size. I don't know the exact age, but would estimate 1990's based on the color scheme and frame style. The print is in very good vintage condition. It is clean with no tears, stains, or marks. The mattes are also clean - no stains or marks. The frame has some minor scuffing, consistent with normal wear and age. The glass has no chips, cracks, or visible scratches. The mounting board on the back of the print has a few dings, but nothing that effects the picture. The hanging bracket and frame are both tight and secure. See photos for additional details.
