Description: Vintage Staffordshire Brentleigh “Baby Ware” figural baby mug. This darling mug features an animal which appears to be a bear (koala?) building sandcastles on the beach with beach pail beside. This item is dated with a child’s birth: August 27th, 1950 and states her name as “Kathleen Jeanne Sweet”. The givers had their names placed on the bottom as well! Made in England, the mug is in good preowned condition. Only damage or use evident is to the gold embellished rim/lip which shows paint loss. This pretty and fun little mug would make a great addition to any collection. Size measurements are shown in photos: 2.90” deep/tall, and 4.5” to handle end.
