Description: Vintage Ateco Decorating Tube Set w/ Storage Case; #780? This listing is for a Vintage Ateco Decorating Tube Set w/ Metal Storage Case in the Original Cardboard Box. One owner; this was recently recovered from my parental home. This is an old Decorating Tube Set; likely from the 1940s. I think that this is an Ateco Decorating Tube Set #780 but I cannot be sure; it appears to be incomplete, missing pieces; some of the decorating tips inside the storage case/ box may not be original to the set; there is no instruction booklet or coupler. The set comes with a total of Thirty Decorating “Tubes / Tips”; four of those tips still have the Original Price tag from Hirsch’s Department Store in St. Joseph, MO. attached. According to information on the cardboard box; the decorating tubes / tips are”nickel silver”; I cannot confirm that. The Cardboard Box has wear, discoloration, marks. The Metal box is hinged and closes “stiffly”; the decorating tubes/ tips and Metal box/case have discoloration, wear/ surface changes. Approximate Measurements of the storage case: 6” x 4” x 1.5”. This is a vintage item that may show evidence of age, use and storage; surface/edge wear, faded / loss of color, loss of paint/finish, dirt/dust; refer to photos for approximate measurements and condition of the item[s].
