Today, we're thrilled to present a stunningly detailed, hand-painted dollhouse cabinet in the shape of Noah's Ark - it was made by the talented miniature IGMA artisan who specialized in 1:144 scale dollhouses on legs for the 1:12 settings, Joan McLean (1995, signed on the underside). This one is an especially unique find because it is crafted in the form of Noah's Ark. The perfect piece for decorating a darling dollhouse nursery or child's dream bedroom! It is a wonderful cabinet raised on Queen Anne legs, with painted animals marching up the side of the ark. The upper portion has been painted a lovely shade of pale pink with pastel blue trim, and the lower half is a buttery yellow hue. It has a hinged front cabinet door that opens to reveal two floors painted with pairs of animals and two painted wood figures: one of Noah himself and the other, a white done with an olive branch in its beak! The house itself is a perfect 1:144 scale doll's house, and the perfect scale for a 1:12 doll to use and love! *NOTE: The Noah's Ark wall shelf is NOT included, but is listed separately.
