Description: Item: Vintage/Estate Art Deco Etched Brass & Mesh Round Loose Powder Compact. The compact features a pull-down latch opening and is brass with a metal mesh bottom. The lid is etched in a sunburst pattern. This may be an Evans compact based on the style but I found no markings. The original mirror is intact and there is powder remnant in the compact. This beautiful piece is in good vintage condition, although gentle wear for age/use should be a consideration. See photos for detailed description and condition.
