Description: Vintage, Possibly Newly Antique Black Ware Vase This piece is unusual in several respects. I cannot find another one like it, only rudimentarily similar. It smells faintly of sulphur. It “pings” like metal, but you can clearly see, that the material is something other than metal, when you shine a light inside. The outside appears to be burnished to a smooth, matte finish, but the inside in its non burnished state, has tiny reflective “sparkles.” The raised relief band of roses appears to be a hand applied mold. SHE’S HEAVY! 4lbs!! This one has me super stumped; but when I saw it, I knew there was something special about it, and sure enough, it’s so special, that I can’t find ANYTHING about it, anywhere. It has a raised relief stamp or carving on the bottom. I can’t identify it and even the antique identifier app can’t identify the maker. It’s an outstanding piece of artwork, and I hope it finds the right person to love it as much as I do❤️ PLEASE refer to ALL photos for close visual inspection.
