Description: Vintage Archtop acoustic guitar - Airline?, Silvertone? , not sure - Plays great This great guitar is used, but it plays great and has a fresh setup with a new set of Martin strings, a new bridge, a new tailpiece, and a new set of vintage style tuners, as well as lots of other work done to it. This guitar was the “audtion” guitar for our new guitar tech. It was given to him in rough shape and it was his job to make it a good playable guitar from what we gave him. Well, he adjusted the action to a nice low and playable action, added a new set of vintage style tuners, added a new bridge and tailpiece, fix some separation on the back, and hand painted the edges on the top and back so they would look like binding and cover up some of the wear and tear on the guitar. He then flly cleaned it up and polished it and it is actually a pretty good guitar now that plays great and looks good. There are still plenty of minor dings, some scratches and other small issues as you might expect from an old guitar, but it is still a cool guitar that plays great and we are selling it at a low price. These are actual photos of the one you will get. We are not sure of the brand because it has no headstock logo. We think though that it is an Airline guitar from the 1950’s. This is a cool old guitar that was made in the USA that plays well for under $300.00 with $65.00 in new parts on it. Thanks for looking .
