Description: Up for auction is a stunning hand made studio pottery pitcher by A. R. Cole Pottery in North Carolina. It is also marked 244 on the base. The pitcher measures 7.5" tall x 3 7/5" wide at the spout. The brown and green glossy glaze has a snake scale feel to it giving it a rough feel. Inside the pitcher are 2 unglazed spots. They are not chips. There is a clear glaze on top of these 2 areas but no color glaze. Overall in great vintage condition.
