It is made of solid 14k gold and is in excellent condition. I have taken it to my personal jeweler to verify gold content. The front filigree is white gold with the sides and back in 14k gold. Pin is nice weight compared to most brooches and clasp is tight and secure. Stamped 14k. In the center of the brooch is a faceted blue topaz per my jeweler's evaluation.
