Description: Set of 2 antique, vintage boxes. The first one is stamped Flemish Art Co. These come from NY in the early 1900s. 12" by 5" by 2 5/8". It has its original gold-tone hardware and works. The beautiful design is Art Nouveau-a woman with flowing hair and flowers, also grape design. Partially painted- the grapes and vines. These boxes are very collectible and were used in a bureau drawer for gloves, etc. I list this box as VG-EX. There are a three small chips on the top-seen in pictures. There is a shiny coating of ?? on the outside of wood. Looks like some old ink and some glue reside inside this box. The second box is unmarked and not as old as first. It is also pyrographic. Most of design is daisies and holly. Measures 10 1/2" by 5 1/4" by 2". The original metal hardware is marked Wizard and I can't quite read the rest. Partially painted as per these boxes. No damage on inside. The hardware is loose. This also was made for gloves, scarves, trinkets, etc. ALL ITEMS are sold AS IS, and NO RETURNS.
