Description: This listing is for a Vintage or Antique EDISON electric motor - Style ES229464 110 volt dc or ac. It is in lightly tested WORKING condition. I have gently lubricated it, and when plugged in it runs. I am unsure what Edison machine it may have come from, possibly a prototype, phonograph, fan, etc. It has been mounted to an oval base, with a hand made “Edison” tag attached. Possibly a prototype for the factory or sales floor, provenance is unfortunately unknown. The design is excellent for many rooms and a large variety of styles of decor. It makes this an excellent piece for your collection, one your friends definitely wont have. It is an excellent piece for collectors, gifting, display / decor, gifting, and more! It is in good condition, with no major damage. Some wear from age as shown. I have not disassembled it at all. Comes as found, lightly tested.
