Description: Here's an antique A.G. SPALDING & BROS. "D.H." TENNIS RACQUET. Dates to the early 1900s. Comes with old wooden press that is unmarked.27" in length. Inside of racquet head measures about 11 1/2" x 7 3/4". Grip is about 4 7/8" in diameter. Has the expected scuffs and scratches but it's actually pretty nice. Not warped. Strings are intact and tight. Emblems look good. Some loss of original finish and there is the remains of old duct tape on the top of the head of the racquet. Looks like it protected the wood well but I have not tried to remove it. Leather at end of grip handle is in good shape. Press has initials carved in it. Overall VERY GOOD CONDITION.
