Description: Vintage American Padlock, Model # 107. These locks date from the 1960's or early 1970's. They are brand new and have never been used. The locks are Keyed Alike (KA), NOS, New Old Stock. The dimensions of these locks are identical to those of the current production American Lock padlock Model # A42. 1-1/2" wide body1/4" thick hardened steel shackle3" high shackle clearance Like all American Lock padlocks the shackle is locked by dual ball bearings which resist pulling and prying. The body is painted zinc. As such, there may be minor cosmetic imperfections in the paint coating, which is considered normal. The key cylinder and 2 accompanying keys are solid brass. The keys are original and say "American Lock Company USA" on one side and"Junkune Bros" on the other side. The key number is stamped on each side. Junkune Brothers was the original manufacturer and was purchased by Master Lock in the 1990's. The original vintage box for each lock is included as is the paper key code/instruction card. The boxes are in very nice condition with bright Red, White, and Blue colors. If you purchase 6 locks, we will include the 6 lock shelf carton. The carton has some wear and some UV fading but is still in pretty good condition. This is a great opportunity to pick up some vintage locks for your collection or to put to use in securing your property.
