Vintage Aluminum and Brass Coin Bank - Possibly British

Description: Due to the increase in volume of packages being shipped through the US Postal System, shipping times have occasionally been longer than those estimated by either eBay or the USPS tracking tool. Vintage aluminum and brass unusual coin bank.Guessing that it was from Britain only because there were a few British pennies in it when I purchased it (pre-owned) -there are no markings to indicate where it wasmade or by whom. The brass "stopper" on the underside of the bank is threaded,and screws into brass base. The opening in the base which the stopper screws into is just under 1" diameter.The brass piece at the very top is held on bya nut which is inside as shown in photo #7 The brass has some verdigris, which can be seen in photos #15 and #16.There is wear - scuffs and dents - as the aluminum walls are fairly thin ... not super thin like a soda can, but not thickas a cast piece would be.Examples of this wear are shown in the last 5 photos.
