Description: Vintage all wooden hand carved Infant Jesus of Prague statue. This is also all handpainted. I have two identical statues that have a label or sticker that says MADE IN ITALY. This item is most likely from the 1930s or 1940s. You rarely see one of these older statues in all wood. The condition is very good for its vintage age.I do not find any cracks or chips other than the one "smushed " that I have mentioned above.The statue measures 12 inches high and is 3.50 inches wide at the base.I am quite sure the base can be made much better by using Old English for Dark Wood.I will be happy to do that before sending to you, if you request it.The statue weighs just shy 1 pound, so will have to travel via Priority Shipping once the weight of box and wrapaping is added.
