Description: Alessi espresso pot designed for the brand by Aldo Rossi in 1988 specifically for the clients of the Hotel Savoy in Florence. I don’t know if it was sold in their Gift shop or was a gift for those who stayed there. This is a limited edition 1 cup size pot perhaps made specifically for the Hotel Savoy Firenze. Nowadays, 3 Cup is the smallest La Cupola available for purchase. Front of the pot has etched into the metal surface: image of the cupola of the Hotel Savoy as well as the the words, “Hotel Savoy, Firenze” followed by the words, “Buongiorno!” in italics. SIZE: ONE CUP. 18 cm tall (7.09 inches tall) with diameter: 7 cm (2.76 inches). Never used. Aluminum, with thermoplastic resin knob and handle. Signed on the bottom: ALESSI Aldo Rossi 1988 Condition is vintage preowned, but Never Used excellent. Inside is spotless, but the front exterior surface does have some finger smudges & water stains.
