Description: This is a gorgeous vintage doll from the late 1930s-1940s, designed and produced by doll maker Nancy Ann in her "Storybook Dolls" series. This particular girl was inspired by the month of November. The doll comes in her original box. The box's lid is torn on the corners and shelf worn.The dolly herself has some fraying threads in her dress as seen in the photos but otherwise she is in great condition.. These dolls come from the collection of my dear friend’s mother. She was an art historian by training and had a keen eye for beauty and quality. She collected many types of things----parts of her collections were featured in museum shows that traveled across America. She was a third generation Californian and some of her collection would have come from family. I do not know the history of individual pieces but I do know that they were lovingly curated and cared for by her as a collection. Her beautiful dolls are now ready to be passed on to others who will love them as much as she did.
