Description: This listing is for a nice vintage "Bell MOTO Star 3" classic helmet dated and stamped 5/83 USA on the chin strap. The chin strap and double D buckle is well secured and in good shape. This is a glossy yellow motorcycle racing helmet with black trim and lettering. Structurally, the exterior shell is in good condition. It does have signs of 40 years of scratches, paint nicks, and scuff marks, from normal wear, age, and storage. These marks can be called character marks! No cracks or broken areas. This helmet lettering MOTO 3 and the stripping on the sides are in great shape. It has the Snell DOT approved logo tag on the back. The 5 visor button snaps on the front of the helmet look in great shape. It has both of the small exterior "BELL" stickers on the front and back of the helmet. The front air vents look in good shape. The size tag on the interior indicates it as a 7 1/4 or 58 centimeters. The inside styrofoam padding looks to be okay but it has some deteriorating of the lining material and will need to be redone/refurbished if you so desire. I did a quick wipe down but this retro helmet can be cleaned up to look even better. Please take a look at the pictures as they are consider part of the description. Being sold as is.
