Description: This VINTAGE 1996 (80th 500) program is definitely a great vintage find for Indy Collectors and Race Fans!My Dad attended this Indianapolis race and so the program has only had one owner, as it has been in storage.The Winner was Buddy Lazier!The program has a fold-out cover by Artist, James Dietz who designed it to "Celebrate the 40th Anniversary of the Indianapolis Motor Speedway Hall of Fame Museum" (See pic #1 & #10). (See pic #1).It has a removable insert chart showing the "Starting Field" with pictures of their cars, along with a "Score Card" (See pics #3 & #4). Also included is a newspaper clipping from USA TODAY Sports (5/14/1996) showing Scott Brayton with his wife & daughter as he secured the pole position for this Indy 500 (See pic #3).There is another fold out section "Indianapolis 500 - Welcome" by Tony George (See pics #5 & #6).Another smaller fold out page is introducing the Official 1996 Indy Pace Car - the Dodge Viper GTS (See pics #7 & #8).There is a 7-page article of past "Pace Cars - 80 Years of Tradition" (See pic #9).I've included these extra pics to show you examples of the condition of the interior pages.The program was published by The Indianapolis Motor Speedway Corporation.
