Description: Vintage Violin 4/4 Case, Mid-1900s, Leather, Brass fittings & Felt Lining The case is in good used condition. There are scratches, nicks, fading and wear to the inside, also wear to the outside black leather covering, and some fading. The case handle is metal with a newer black vinyl covering added over the unsightly, and deteriorated old leather handle. If you want it pretty much completely original, just cut the vinyl covering off. The latches are good, and there is no key for the lock latch which opens and closes ok without a key.
