Description: Estate Find! 83 Beautiful Beads! Vintage 20s-30s Bohemian Czech Peacock Eye Foil Glass Beads for Necklace Jewelry Please note: for the sake of this listing and the fact that many people are not sure the difference between Czech, Murano, Venetian or Bohemian Glass beads, my information regarding them is based off of my research and also input from other bead experts and enthusiasts on a Facebook Bead collecting group of over 12K people. So, with that in mind, please do your own due diligence as I can only make a somewhat educated guess on these lovely beads. It is also suggested that they are vintage or possibly antique beads if produced in the early 20s. Since there is no way of knowing the exact year in which they were made, it is important, if it matters to you, to do your own due diligence as I have exhausted all avenues and can not guarantee any date in which they were made. I can say these came from an well to do estate with many antique and vintage jewelry items. For a smooth transaction, please read the entire description prior to making a purchase. Please check out my video and all of the images as they are a major part of the description. Images may show wear/condition, details, maker mark and/or branding, approximate measurements and other details that will help you determine the condition and if this is what you were looking for. I often use a penny or quarter to help you gauge the size. No props are including in the listing unless mentioned in the description. Before making a purchase, please understand that device screens may vary and colors may appear different on your screen and mine. All of the images with the beads in my hand with the white glove were taken in front of a window to try to allow you to see the details in more of a natural light setting. All other images were taken on a desk not far way but away from the window in standard room lighting.I did not use any special lighting or filters. Here is what I do know! The beads are beautiful. I have been hoarding them in my closet for years and just came across them when I pulled out an old jewelry and memorabilia box I had stashed away. They have been carefully stored. I have only seen a few examples of these style of beads; however, I have not seen any that are this color and I have searched high and low on the internet. In regards to the color, device screens vary in color. We both may see a different color of the same item on our devices. Please take this into consideration prior to making a purchase as there may be a variance in color and by making a purchase you accept that they may arrive in a different shade than your device shows you. There is no way I can give the color of these beads a name, unless the word Yummy counts! All of the images of the beads in my hand with a leopard background are taken with me holding them up to a window so you can try to guage the color in a somewhat natural light. All of the other photos are taken out of the natural light and in basic room lighting. I find it best to showcase jewelry in these basic conditions as opposed to issuing any special photography lighting that could alter the appearance. Currently, the bead string is hand knotted between each bead. There are 2 larger loose beads. In the original package, which I threw away, it included a white/ivory string that was probably purchased to restring them. It feels like a silk or nice quality string and I will include it in the box. I know nothing about the string, it is just an extra being throw on. So, I am guessing it was broken and someone was going to restring it and never did. There are a total of 83 beads. 81 are on the strand and the other 2 are the larger loose ones. Each beads all vary slightly in size and design. I do not feel any sharpness, cracks or cracks on them. I have included some images of 3 of the sizes, but it is clear in the images that they are graduated and vary in size. I just chose the smallest, largest and one in between. Please look at all of the images to form your own opinion as to the condition of the item. My personal opinion may differ from yours. To me, it is in excellent vintage or antique condition, meaning gently worn and well taken care of - wear consistent with age. This would be a wonderful gift to a vintage jewelry or bead collector or a fantastic addition to your ever growing collection. Shipping includes insurance and signed delivery confirmation. Condition: Vintage or preowned jewelry typically shows wear constant with its age. That is why we love it so much. The images are a major part of the description so please zoom in and look closely so there will be no surprises and you know exactly what I am selling and you will be receiving. ** Most of the time, I try not to disturb any vintage/preowned jewelry by cleaning and/or polishing it in order to keep it in its original patina leaving it to your discretion. I do not want to take a chance ruining something. Depending on your own taste, you can either clean or polish it or keep it in its original state. My jewelry comes from estates, individual consignors, individual or bulk purchases, etc. In most cases, I do not know the history of the jewelry nor where it has traveled or been stored. Most importantly, I have no idea if it has been around pets, smoke, air fresheners or any sort of allergen or if it smells. (I do not smell jewelry) Thanks so much for looking! Disclaimer: Some images may have been magnified to show you details. I often use a penny as a prop to help you gauge the size. The penny and any prop, mannequin or measuring/weighing tool are not part of this listing - only the item mentioned in the title is for sale. Unless mentioned in the written description, the colors on my screen are the colors of the piece as I see it. Before making a purchase, you are accepting the fact that your device or computer screen may show a different color.
