Of course I wore a pretty slip underneath it and combat boots-it looked great! This dress is made of a sheer, see through sparkly nylon lace with embroidery accents. Very cool, it's very slightly form fitting and does narrow at the waist and flares at the hem. It fell to about just past knee length on me, 5' tall. It has a 3 button snap opening at the front neck to pull over the head.
