Description: ORIGINAL 1985 PAMELA GRANBERY HOLLYWOOD SERIES 'SNOW CONES & PSYCHIC PALMIST' PAINTING This is just a great original piece. I recently was lucky enough to acquire a large collection of artwork by well listed contemporary artist Pamela Granbery. For those not familiar with the artist, I have included her biography below. These works come directly from the family of the artist. I acquired some of her abstract works, that are currently hanging in my office, and some of her earlier works, that are from her Hollywood Scenes Series. I am offering a couple of her Hollywood series currently but if you are interested in some of her abstracts, dont hesitate to contact me. This one is a great scene of a building that seems to me to be a classic California image. A wonderful view of a the Mile High Cones which I understand is from the famous Currie's Ice Cream from Sunset Boulevard. I am not sure exactly what this is from as I have been unable to find an image of a Currie's with a Psychic next door. A wonderful mixed media of graphite, watercolor and gouache on paper. Image measures 10 x 14 inches on complete original sheet measuring 18 x 24 inches. Excellent clean and vibrant as painted. Signed and dated lower right. Sheet is floated in simple white wood frame and ready to hang. An excellent presentation of the very good painting. For those not familiar with the artist her biography reads: "Pamela Granbery is a painter/performance artist who lives between Rhode Island in summers and California in winters. A graduate of Bennington College, and the Whitney Program, she worked with the likes of Helen Frankenthaler, bounced on the knees of Rauschenberg and Tony Smith as a child, and taught at the Rhode Island School of Design.
