Description: For your consideration is this vintage Smart Sam the Melody Bear produced by Hip Yick International in 1985 and made in Taiwan. the bear plays up to 18 tunes.....those that I could identify are below. He is in excellent condition and requires two AA batteries for operation (not included). The battery compartment is cleverly hidden behind a zippered enclosure on his bergundy colored jacket. His clothing is stitched to his body. He has a small bulb in his red nose that lights up as the music plays. When his buttons are pressed, a sequence of two songs plays. He measures 12 inches long x 8 inches wide x 13 inches tall and is in excellent condition. I have steam cleaned and air dried him prior to photographing.
