Description: This listing is for a Vintage 1983 Schwinn mountain bike, it has BMX and MTB parts on it, this is the first Schwinn ATB mountain bike with cantilever brakes and the last Chicago built Schwinn bike before they closed the factory, original components include, ACS BMX stem and pedals, Ukai extra wide rims, Suntour thumb shifters and AG Tech rear derailleur, it has some scratches on the frame but otherwise in very nice original condition, original paint and is very rideable, I am guessing it is an early Sierra, it does not have a model name on it, only Schwinn, it looks like a Sidewinder but the Sidewinders had caliper brakes and this one as cantilever brakes, I looked up the serial number and it shows it being a 1983 model, this is not a modified cruiser, it is all original and came this way from the factory, only the grips and saddle were changed. it comes as you see it in the pictures, no other parts or accessories are included.
