Description: Amazing 1980s Navajo vase. The black on black burnished/slip design is very cool - partly glossy, partly matte. It makes the floral, hummingbird and butterfly wrap-around paintings pop! This art is a great example of the technique of using burnished clay with slip painted designs. It’s in good vintage condition with no chips or cracks. There are scratches. See photos for details. It’s unsigned apart from an inscribed “B” at bottom. It’ll look great styled up with flowers or branches or as a stand alone art piece.
