Vintage 1980's Atlas GN-6 microphone 6 inch ebony gooseneck Shure Turner # 3

Description: Hello and welcome to the house of Chrome. You are looking at an older 1980's Atlas gooseneck (model number GN-6) that comes with the original ebony finish. These goosenecks are appx 6 inches long and flexible though very rigid. This is the shortest of the 3 models sold by Atlas at that time. Pic # 2 shows this very model from an earlier Atlas catalog. Atlas original sold these only in the chrome finish but eventually offered them in the ebony finish as well. This short ebony variant is better for situations where you need a little more length and tilt with your mic. These goosenecks are great at supporting a heavier microphone as they bend far less easily. The ebony finish on these Goosenecks show typical lite wear. The goosenecks are hollow so that you can run a cable through them if needed. Simply screw the flexible gooseneck onto most any desk or floor stand you have. It will screw onto any boom arm as well. This set up will work with no issues on any desk stand, floor stand or boom arm. You'll want to use a desk stand with a heavier cast iron base or a base so that your desk stand won't easily tip over.
