Description: This is the vintage Star Wars Battle Damaged Tie Fighter from 1978. This iconic toy is in great shape and is over 45 years old. It is all original and in excellent working condition. The decals are in good condition and the laser light and motor works. See pictures for overall condition of item and decals. I have been refurbishing these toys for over 5 years and enjoy bringing them back to life. I take each toy apart and oxy-clean it. I also clean the electronics. If any repair parts are needed, they are sourced from donor toys. I do my best to make sure everything I sell is original, but reproduction parts are difficult to detect. The motors in these toys have copper points and rotors inside that tarnish with age so I take them apart and clean them. The decals tend to bubble over time and the adhesive fails. I usually glue these back on with 3M adhesive. My goal is to make sure everyone is happy with their purchase, so I accept returns.
